Air Connectivity to Araria

Only recently Purnia Airport has been opened nearby Araria. This airport operates chartered unscheduled flights for state capital Patna and nearby Kolkata, largest city cum capital of the neighboring state West Bengal. Spirit Air Private Limited and Door to Door Services Limited (DTDS) operate their non-scheduled flight services on Patna-Purnea and Purnea-Calcutta routes. The flights are twice a week to Kolkata and Patna.

Araria is connected by all nearby cities of Bihar. National Highway 57 connects it with the cities of Muzaffarpur and Purnea. Araria city has its two bus stands out of which one is named Zero Mile from where buses for all major cities of the state operate including those for capital city of Patna.
